oh man.
since yesterday i've been in a mad rush to get everything going for my mission trip. and i'm tired tired tired. suddenly training's been so intense because of all the fitness work we've been doing every first half and hour (but it always get dragged). and i don't think that our team next year is gonna be very strong (no offense to the existing squad members) because i predict a weak bench. sigh. church has suddenly become administraitive. and holiday homework is just sitting there (i mean, i've done some stuff, but you know.) and i can't find a SINGLE THUMB DRIVE IN MY HOUSE! ARGH!
on the other hand, i've become so obsessed with high school musical that i really really can't get it out of my head. (aqilah, priya or kaya would be happy to elaborate.) i even have a high school musical CUP! XD haha i'm so happy about that. i think the songs from high school musical are actually really really nice. they're really nicely arranged and everything (as in, all the instruments) even though it might be electronic is technically fantastic. and of course, the choreography is just amazing. like, i don't know many people who could do all the stuff they do! yeah. that's why i like high school musical. i only like the actual music part, not the storyline. (who likes the storyline?)
i've been on the com a lot lately (my dad thinks i'm addicted.) and frankly, nothing i do on the com is actually really productive. most of the time. so yeah.
am i wasting this holiday?

BACK FROM SHANGHAI. and obama won. nyehnyeh, gen. and i only like the flights, so i'll blog about the two flights.
um. the flight to shanghai was okay, i watched wanted (it's awesome) and then i watched the apprentice which was really quite amusing. grown-ups acting like children. and then i played pokemon with tanya. i named my trainer tanya and my first pokemon lorraine. (i was sitting with lorraine too. boy was she pissed.) but lorraine was a really good pokemon. then i caught a caterpillar and named it sarah-ann. it kept dying and i didn't really bother to revive it. i don't think she knows yet.
the flight back was a little more chaotic.
we didn't determine how we were gonna switch seats until really late, so i spent quite a lot of time running around trying to trade seats. in the end i found. :D so then on the way onto the aircraft i saw the freaking retarded headline and HAD to pick up the straits times:

how freaking retarded is that. so then anyway the plane took off and i went to sit in between tanya and rachel tan. very fun. two extremes. so at first my remote couldn't switch to the INT thing which meant i couldn't choose what i wanted to watch, so i ended up flipping channels. and then i found high school musical 2, which i watched with tanya. and then after that the INT thing could work so i watched hell's kitchen. it was SO EXCITING! but they didn't censor it so there was one f word every like 5 seconds. and then after that i decided to stand up and walk around the plane to visit people. i visited sarah lim, who couldn't hear me saying 'hi, sarah!'. and i also visited bea and carol. then i visited gwen and marian (who was asleep.) then i visited rachel nyam and a lump of long hair which i didn't know was sarah-ann until rachel nyam told me. i thought it was someone else. so then i visited nell and kaya. nell was drawing something on kaya's red file so i thought i'd contribute. and i was very modest and i insisted that nell didn't need to credit me but she drew an arrow at what i drew and wrote 'esther cheah drew this'. it was so touching to be appreciated. and then there was turbulence which scared the hell out of me so i practically ran back to my seat. and then i smelled cup noodles so i told tanya 'i smell cup noodles' and she thought i wanted so she pressed the button to call the stewardess. and then i was like 'why did you press the button?' and then she's like 'i thought you wanted cup noodles!' so we were panicking but in the end she ordered apple juice. it was very amusing. then i started playing speed with tanya. i won the first game (thank you, thank you.) but then tanya started cheating in the second game. like when i started to play, if she had no cards to play then she just swept everything off onto the floor and put out 4 more cards. SO ANNOYING. yeah. that's basically it. i had a really fun time.

so exciting!
1 day: US ELECTION! OMGOMG I WANT OBAMA TO WIN. i don't like mccain OR sarah palin. bleah.
2 days: SHANGHAI! OMGOMG i packed already! yay! so exciting.
and i don't like sheena. i'm glad she's eliminated. when i saw it was sheena i was like YES!YES! in your face, marian.
