TODAY WAS A MOST DISTURBING DAY.

we read this really sick passage in LA, practice makes perfect. it was disturbing but AWESOME. like really cool and all, but then it came in only 3rd. mrs ng said it was because it was macabre. NEW WORD!! it means gross and disturbing, like LCM. lol. jk... i think. anyway, after school when my mum fetched me home from school, we went to get MCDONALDS. then i switched the radio to 987, and it was playing 'just so you know'. jesse mccartney. so anyway our conversation went like this:

Me:OK. who sang this? (i'm always testing her so that she knows what's going on in the world)

Mum:Uh, Cyndi Lauper.

Me:?!?!?!?!! (with a totally shocked look on my face) MUM! THIS IS A GUY!

Mum:Oh. Who is it?

Me:Jesse McCartney.

Mum:(puzzled look) Jesse McCartney is a girl!

Me:(bewildered) J-E-S-S-E! that's not a girl's name!

Mum:(self-assured) No. It's a girl.

Yeah. so i was like shocked for the rest of the ride home. LOL.
